Experiment 17

Fall 2013

Over the last decade, artists, designers, and scientists have collaborated in widely varying circumstances. Through their original and sometimes provocative projects they have explored questions at once critical to an understanding of contemporary society and hard to explore along disciplinary lines. Often developed in public exhibitions, these cultural experiments have produced a rare public dialog around the future of change with ramifications to cultural, educational and commercial practice. By this exceptional experiment, a series of unique encounters, David Edwards, founder of Le Laboratoire in Paris, Harvard Professor, invites key actors of the artscience movement to present their personal visions of the “culture lab."
